Bash Kids Club
Brand Identity, Custom Illustrative Work, and Exclusive Magazine Editorial Design
BASH KIDS CLUB
Since graduating from DePaul University, I’ve been putting my creativity to work in a variety of ways working over at Bash Kids Club, doing everything from planning unique children’s crafts out of cardboard tubes and pipe cleaners to designing high-quality branding materials, illustrative pieces, and editorial exclusives.
This page is a collection of a year’s worth of graphic design work I’ve created for Bash Kids Club: a company that has been growing rapidly since its inception only a few years ago, serving the community by (b)uilding (a)ctive (s)ocial (h)umans — aka, BASH!
The BASH Mag
Our debut issue of the BASH Magazine highlights some of our best crafts, activities, and memories of our previous school year and is jam-packed with summer themed content for our kiddos. Word searches, coloring pages, art projects, yoga techniques, you name it, the BASH Mag Summer 2023 Issue’s got it!
A collaborative effort between all the other BASH team members and myself, this editorial project was a great challenge for me as a designer. I focused on making this magazine accessible and easy for kids to get into while also keeping it engaging and interactive. At the heart of it, the design of this magazine and the BASH brand in general celebrates our kids’ endless creativity and spirit. I wanted to make something that would make both us—and them—proud to be a part of BASH.
BASH Coloring Pages
My creative contributions to BASH began with my illustrative work in the form of coloring pages for our kids! I love sharing my artistic style with our community in a way that is fun and interactive. I take inspiration from our weekly mantras, seasons and holidays throughout the year, and even suggestions from our very own students.
